America’s Next Top Model .. wow.

Okay I know this show has been on for multiple seasons but I wrote this show off as one I’d never be interested in. MTV has been running episodes quite a lot lately so I decided to record a whole season since they were having a ANTM marathon. Wow, I actually like this show. I watched the season where Yoanna won even though I really wanted Mercedes. I was amazed to see how determined and how hard these girls had to work to become models. Modeling is one of those jobs everyone writes off as so easy and anyone can do it but it actually takes talent and loads of hard work. I now have a new appreciation for what my younger cousin, Kayla, does since she’s working to become a model/dancer! Does anyone else watch this show?

Where’s OTH!?!

I was checking out the new fall line-ups for my favorite television shows and I was so heartbroken to not see One Tree Hill listed. I swear I almost had a hernia trying to find it. I googled and looked everywhere for some information on it. Finally, I came across an article stating that OTH will be coming back but won’t air until mid season which means all OTH’ers have to wait until January! How unfair is that!?! I want it now, damnit!

So what are some TV shows you all are looking forward to?

Boredom bites the dust

Hey everyone! Just thought I’d pop on and update my blog. Tonight I watched a load of TV so I could clean off our DVR. Did anyone see the latest episode of One Tree Hill? It really made me sad and the ending really blew me away. Naughty Dan, he needs his ass beat! Also, I can’t wait for the new Veronica Mars to air. I’m getting tired of waiting. I am very much addicted to TV these days. My DVR is my new best friend. Haha. It’s been so long since I’ve been into TV so I guess I’m catching up on all the TV I missed this past year. Oh, American Idol is good, too. I hope Mandisa, Kelly, Paris, Chris, or Ace win! They are all great singers!

Not much going on in my life. Me and Court fought again but this time it got out of hand and since then we’ve been having long discussions. I swear, we have more ups and downs than a dang roller coaster. He has bad anger issues and he’s bi-polar and that my friend is NOT a pretty combination. Basically, he’s made an appointment on Monday to go see someone for his problems. He really needs to work things out. Also, about his hand … it was supposed to be covered under Workers’ Compensation but they denied his claim so WE have to pay it. Yeah, thanks alot for calling that damn ambulance when I could have came and got him and took him. The ambulance ride alone is no doubt going to be about $500 and that is $500 we DON’T have. I didn’t even get a good tax return check either. I got about $100 thanks to my employer last year totally screwing up my taxes. Grrrr. My finances are not looking pretty right now since we just had to pay a $200 speeding ticket, but don’t worry .. you won’t see me lowering myself asking for $.50 to buy gas… sorry but I’m not that freaking desperate nor that low.

Well, I think I’ve yacked enough. I got to get some sleep. My nights are usually spent wide awake since Court works 3rd so it’s time to go read my book, relax, and eventually fall asleep. Night ya’ll.

My new obsession..

Hey! Lately, instead of taking the time to blog, I’ve been watching alot of television. In fact, I’m having to watch shows upon shows just to delete them off the DVR to record new shows. Lol. Oh well, it’s good to be able to watch TV because before, I never did. So what are your fave television shows? I am addicted to all things WB, Veronica Mars, OC, Survivor, Amazing Race, Days of Our Lives, Passions, My Name Is Earl, and TLC in general. Tonight I watched Survivor. They really pulled a fast one on Brian, they set him up! Ha. I really liked Brian though because he was genuinely nice. I am glad Margaret is gone though. I really didn’t like her. Judd is an ass but he’s a funny ass at that and I’d rather deal with him than her griping about every little thing and turning on Judd. He’s in the game to win and who is she to say who does and doesn’t deserve a million dollars. The only thing that bugs me is Gary. Why in the hell is an ex-NFL’er trying to win a million!? Shouldn’t he HAVE money already and him lying and deceiving people is awful. That’s really shady to NOT tell people who he is which in a way if they knew, they’d probably vote him off because after all, he’s being a greedy pig. Let some po’ folks have a chance at some mulah! I can’t wait to see next week so Amy can call him out on who he really is. Time to go down Mr. NFL!!

Anyways, that’s all for now. I felt I needed to get my Survivor-ness out until next week. I have yet to watch tonight’s Everwood, I’ll probably watch it tomorrow. I so love my DVR. If I didn’t have it, I’d never be able to watch my fave shows! Oh and next time I will be sure to include some Veronica Mars because that is my fave show at the moment besides One Tree Hill. Nathan and Haley need to work crap out because it’s getting old .. same with Peyton. Who does she think she is trying to be all high and mighty .. atleast Haley wasn’t a coke whore! Grrrrr. Ok, I’m off to play Sims 2 and then read before I head to bed. Ya know .. the usual flu activities since I can’t exert myself. I’m actually feeling better but I keep getting groggy headaches. Hopefully I’ll be ALL better tomorrow! Ciao!
