  • In a Nusthell

      Hi, my name is Kate and I am a small-town girl through and through. I’ve lived in the same town and even the same house since I was born. I reside in a really small-town in Northwest Georgia. I am currently twenty-one years old but will be 22 on September 10th. I am a very loving and caring person. Everyone tells me I’m big-hearted which ends up in me getting used quite a lot. I love people and love making them smile. I’m a big bookworm. I can read a book in a night if I’m really into it and I am always spending money on books. I swear, if books were free, I’d be rich from all the money I didn’t have to spend on them! I suffer from Social-Anxiety Sisorder and Post Traumatic Stress, but I’ll post more on that later. I also have a thyroid disorder which causes me to be tired and suffer from fatigue quite a lot. It also can effect my hair (I shed way more!) and my weight (it’s hard to lose).I am very family-oriented. My family is my life, especially my mom and siblings. My mother, Mary, is my best friend and I talk to her about everything and I literally mean everything. I have one brother, two step-sisters, and two step-brothers. I’m close to all of them except one of my step-brothers since he is grown and has a kid my age. I’ll post more about my family because they are important and I talk about them quite a lot. My family has 9 cats and 3 dogs. Not all of the cats are technically ours but they take refuge at our house, mainly the carport, so we feed and take care of them. The other six are spoiled rotten. Our dogs are spoiled as well, especially Jack which is my puppy. I’ll post more on them later as well.

      I am currently single. I just suffered a bad breakup from a relationship that lasted three years. After we ended things, I oddly was not as tore up as I thought I’d be. I loved him and I wish him the best. I am also a college student while making money online by web hosting, web designing, and blog-to-profit. I already have obtained two degrees from CVTC for Microcomputer Specialist and Web Design and now am working towards a degree in Accounting. I love math and working with numbers so accounting is right up my alley!

      Aside from my family drama (with big families there are always drama), I consider my life pretty boring. I’m very open about things so if there is something you’d like to know, just ask.

  • On the Outside, Looking In

      If you haven’t noticed, I am a big girl. I’ve been a bigger girl most of my life but never this big. I’ve been battling Hypothyroidism for quite a while and it has caused me to gain a lot of weight along with the PTS. I am happy to say that I am currently working towards losing that weight and am confident that I can. I’ll post more on my weight story. (Have you noticed all the post more later’s!?) I do not consider myself to be “hott” or whatever but I am told by most that I am cute. I don’t know, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.I am 5′5 and have beautiful green eyes. My eyes really look camo in some ways but they are pretty none the less. I have shoulder length brown hair with subtle blonde highlights with a few auburn thrown in there that are natural. I love my hair and am glad that I don’t have to spend a lot of time doing my hair since it loves me back and behaves. My hair is bone straight and I’d kill for some wavyness but on the days I do want to spend a little time on it, I use the amplifier to make it all poofy and nice. I have been told my smile makes me even cuter since I have dimples and I have nice, white teeth. When I say dimples, I really mean one dimple which bothers me because it makes me feel lopsided. Like I said, I am a big girl and proud. Even when I lose weight, I’ll still be bigger because if I don’t stay true to my curvy nature, I’ll look like a popsicle stick with watermelon boobs since I have DD’s. Let me tell you, they are a pain! One day, I hope to have breast reduction bceause they kill my back if I’m up walking around all day. I also have wide hips which my grandma always referred to as child-bearing which kind of bothered me at the time. So either way I go, I’ll always be curvy but I like having shape than being one line.

      When it comes to style and clothes, I’m pretty laid back but love to dress up at times. During the spring and summer, I live in capris, tank tops, and flip flops. I love pajamas, too. I own more flip flops than any other type of shoes. I could wear flip flops year round. When I’m at home, I live in pajamas and have a lots of them. When I go out, I usually dress casual but when I go out at night, I dress up. I love kitten heels and wedges. They are very cute. During the winter, I live in my AE sweat pants, tee shirts, and hoodies. I’m hot-natured so if you see me in sweatpants and a hoodie, it’s dang cold!

      When it comes to clothes, I do have style but most of the time I live in pajamas since I don’t go too many places during the day. I have a lot of pajamas and I love the cute little boxer shorts with tank tops. I love comfortable clothing but I also like to dress up. I have a thing with purses and shoes. I love flip flops and own almost 20 pairs since I recently got rid of a lot because they were old. I like kitten heels and wedges as well. Of course, I have to have tennis shoes as well because got to get the excercising in and flip flops + excercise doesn’t always mix well. Most of my clothes come from Lane Bryant, Torrid, the Avenue, and Old Navy. I don’t really enjoy buying expensive clothes but for my size, expensive means it’ll look right. I hate the way most people design plus sized clothing because it is no where near like my body is shaped. Just because I have wide hips doesn’t mean I have balloon legs! I really should become a designer myself. I also love accessories and can’t live without my diamond earrings! I seriously feel naked if I go off with out them. Lane Bryant is hands down the best place to find clothes, accessories, and lingere. I could live in that store and they design clothes that are my style and taste. Just because I’m not skinny doesn’t mean I can’t be stylish. Mmmk? I also am not really a skirt/dress type of girl but I do wear them on occassion and to church. All in all, I’m a pretty laid back dresser that loves her pajamas but doesn’t mind dressing up every now and then for a night on the town.
