Can I just say how sad it is that doctor’s visits and the like are so dang expensive? I am a girl with no insurance. Heck, I don’t even have term life insurance and I’m lucky to have car insurance (not that car insurance has anything to do with my health unless I was in a wreck but you get my point!) considering I’m just a college student that hasn’t done any paid blogging or anything of the such in a very long time ago. Anyways back on subject .. I needed to get the second shot to Gardasil and I found out each dose is $200.00 a pop. Holy crappers! The sad thing is you have to have 3 doses of the shot and luckily I’ve had one. Add the $200.00 for the Gardasil, $20.00 for the flu shot, $125.00 to have my thyroid level checked, and the $55.00 doctor’s visit fee and we can just say Kate is broke big time. I’ll elaborate more on my personal blog when I have time but I just had to rant on here.

The only good thing about Gardasil is that is prevents HPV which can cause cervical cancer. If it wasn’t for that, I’d say screw it. Hopefully Obama is going to be true to his word and have affordable health care for everyone! I hope so because I need it, desperately!
