Hey. Thanks for all the comments and I believe I’m done updating. Lol. I am looking for some WP hacks to make my blog more efficient but I’ll do that later. I have a new theme to put up as well but I can’t decide on how I want it to look. Grrr. I think I will switch to non-theme switching for my blog for the time being atleast. So here goes the updates on my life…

On Wednesday nights, I have my math class. Well I tried to study my butt off but I still didn’t feel confident about the test. I felt like just crying because that is how frustrated I got. When I did get to class, it turned out almost everyone was uncomfortable which made me feel a whole lot better. You see, I’ve NEVER had any problems with school. I was the whiz kid who never study but always had straight A’s. I don’t know how I did it but school came easy to me. In college, it’s came mostly the same way until now. I really think me missing the 2nd week of class really messed me up. I missed because I was sick and that’s when all my computer stuff happened and I got the CD that day. I guess I’ll find out next week how the test went. I feel like maybe I passed but I’m unsure since I had to guess on 6 questions because we ran out of time. No one finished on their own without having to guess but atleast I got 4 bonus points for doing the suggested book work. So we’ll see.

I was taking Nicholas and Selena to school the other day and I was listening to the radio when it talked about a prom party in Forsyth County. There was a party after prom in which teens were drinking. They said on the radio the parents of the house came home, took up all the car keys but did not stop the teens from drinking. I understand that teens are gonna drink one way or the other, hell I know I do at times, but alot of people have mixed emotions on the parents roll in this situation. I can’t say nothing because my mom told me if I was going to experiment with alcohol to do it at home which really took away the thrill of it which is pretty smart on her part since I don’t drink since there’s no fun in it to me. Also, when the party was broken up or whatever, everyone was arrested including the parents and teens. The parents will be charged with contributing to minors and all that fun stuff. So, what do YOU think .. What are your views on teenage drinking and the prom party? Should the parents be convicted or praised since they kept the teens in one place safely? What would you do if you were the parents of the house and how would you feel if you were the parent of a teen at the party? Please answer in my comments, I’m really interested to know.

WOW! You never had to study and you’d get straight A’s?! LUCKY YOU!!! I have to study my butt off to get a good grade! Hehe.

I hope you did well on that math test though! Is it on a curve? Because if the majority of the class didn’t do well, then you won’t get that bad of a grade! Good luck with the score though!

Anyways, as for the prom party thing… I thought I’ve heard something like this a couple of years ago… But anyways… I think the parents should get some kind of punishment for that because they were there!!! I don’t think teens should be drinking at all! Hmm… What I would do… I’m not sure, but I would stop it though… But I don’t know how… If I was the parent of a teen at the party… My child would definitely get some kind of punishment because I’d taught them that drinking isn’t something good, especially if you’re underage!!

I want to install some nifty wp hacks, but I still haven’t figured out wordpress theme’ing yet lol it’s so alien to me, I used to be a moveabletype wiz, but now mt is out of date & I don’t much like the newer version & staying with the old one is some what of a security risk, and I don’t much feel like having my site deleted again. It’s already been deleted 3 times, well my previous domain innocenz.net anyways. I like WP though, I just have to get it figured out haha

I think it was good that the parents took away the keys but they should have taken away the alcohol too. They didn’t get the alcohol for the teens & I think it’s better in a way that they all stayed in one place, where they were safe & taken care of. My Mom did the same for me too, so I really only drank on my birthdays 18-21 (I’m 22 now) & the last couple months I’ve started drinking more on weekends when I go out with friends. Aww I’m sure you did well on the exam… you’re a smart cookie so even your guesses probably were right, ya know? *hugs* Hmm on one hand I think the drinking age should be lowered, and I think that it’s ok for parents to allow experementing ’cause most teens will try it and at least they’re doing it in a safe place, and at least these parents did take up the car keys… but they shouldn’t have allowed children not theirs to do it (if they did, I might be confused haha). I’d be upset as a parent if I found out my child was drinking at someone elses house and the parents knew and just let it go on ya know?

I don’t personally condone underage drinking, but I’m not really one to talk considering I did it a few times myself. As long as the kids are in a controlled environment, I guess there isn’t a problem. I think my views are coming from the fact that I grew up in an Italian/Irish household so drinking ages don’t really matter to us LOL.

In any event, I’m sure you did well on your exam, so keep your study habits up and I’m sure you’ll do fine on any upcoming tests as well.

Adding hacks to wp is pretty simple. At least more simple than adding hacks to other weblog systems!

Here in the netherlands you can drink soft alchol drinks when your 16, and the strong ones when your 18. I think that those parents should have stopped it, most kinds dont know nothing about alchol, and just think its cool! While it can be dangerous. Ah well thats just my opinion!

WP hacks are super simple, so I am sure you won’t have any problems. I hope you did fantastic on the exam.

I think it’s weird.. hehe.. our drinking age here in New Zealand is 18, so you being 20 is no problem!
My parents went with the same view as your mum though (when I was under 1, they let me drink at home - I never got drunk with friends infront of them, I didn’t get drunk for the first time until I was 20! lol. But yeah, they’d let me have champagne at Christmas and sometimes a glass of wine at dinner.
I can’t believe the parents got arrested! Here, if you’re being looked after by your parents and over 16 in your own home, the police can’t arrest the kids or parents if they’re drinking!

Teenage drinking is a diffcult issue…if their parents forbid it, the children will do it secretly anyway. I never drunk much, I did not see the point why I should. Maybe it is better to get arrested once in your youth and leran from it, than to get on the wrong lane later. If I should have children, I would talk to them openly about these things, to try to teach them.

WP hacks. I still need to install the commenter plugger thing that came with the old version. Upgrading it was such a pain.
Hmm, well 2 weeks of missed work can’t possibly result in a fail, but good luck anyway! =)
Underage drinking…well, personally, I can’t stand the stuff and the limit is 18 so it isn’t going be long till I reach that age anyway. I suppose, that it’s better that its somewhat controlled at least..
