Hey everyone! Well, it’s almost Christmas and I am finally starting to get into the holiday spirit. This weekend we’re putting up our Christmas tree and tomorrow morning my mom and I are going shopping early in the morning for presents. I love Christmas. It is hands down my favorite season! So what do ya’ll like about Christmas?
Speaking of holiday things, I need to get my Christmas cards and get them mailed off. I love sending and receiving Christmas cards! So if you would like a card from me, please e-mail misskatexNO@SPAMgmail.com (remove the NO SPAM, obviously) and I’ll add you to my card list. I’m sending out cards on Monday so they’ll be early this year! So e-mail me and ye sha’ll receive!
Well, that’s really all for now. I just wanted to drop a quick blogaroo to say hey!
Meet Kate, a 23 year old Southern belle. She spends her days spending time with family, loving her Prince Charming (Rans), and going to school to become a teacher. This blog is a place for her to post reviews with a twist of Southern charm.
Hehe, have fun putting up the tree and everything!! I don’t celebrate Christmas, so it’s just the same o’ same o’ for me… Hehe… I’ve only put up the lights on a Christmas tree once in my lifetime… Hehe…
Anyways, good luck with Christmas cards and Christmas shopping! Have fun with your mom!

Hey Kate!! Thanks for the comment hehe. I thought it would be a cute idea only I’m doing like Christmas boxes of goodies. I’m trying to find more Christmas goodies to choose ya know but I’m not having any luck I’ve been searching but nothing. I love your layout. I need to make a new one. I’m kinda mad that my comment plugger doesn’t work anymore since I installed the new wordpress.
I’ve been in the christmas mood for awhile hehe. I love Christmas its such a great time. I love sending christmas cards but I hardly get any which kinda sucks but I guess its nice giving them out letting people know that I’m thinking of them.

I love christmas but my husband does not. I hope to slowly.. break him in, if you will. -lol-
But, needless to say, we won’t be doing anything much for Christmas this year. I don’t want a tree since we can’t have a real one and being our firs tChristmas together, I’ll skip the cooking - thank you. ha!
But I love christmas. when I was young I loveloveloved the whole family getting together aspect. it was so sweet and magical. the cookies, the cooking, the cousins. the music. mom loved elvis and christmas music so there was always that. it was just super happy
my mom’x ex-in laws were ore religious than we were so it was more about Jesus with them. i didn’t mind but I found it difficult to be very religious when my mom wasn’t. I remember one year I was super pissed because we weren’t celbrating because of jesus, ha!
i guess after my sister died and mom divorced.. well money was a problem and we stopped doing the family thing. christmas wasn’t as fun and i spent many years disliking christmas.
she also remarried and our ‘tradition’ was no more. it involved her new in-laws and we actually rarely spent time with family so a few years ago i’d just go spend time with her family on my own and I LOVED that. last year i was living on my own and we had a tree… it was fun. i had scooby doo decorations and cute little icicles. hehe!
it’s also fun with my little sister because she’s adorable. but i also like the colours.. the shiny and brightness.. everything is just a little happier.. more vibrant. and the snow and winter.. so romantic. -grins-

My favourite thing about Christmas? Wow… uhh… probably that all of my family is always there. And my family is HUGE. 16 cousins, 17 or so aunts and uncles, grandparents, great aunts and uncles, family friends… it really is a great time. And a couple of my uncles own a pub in town, so every year on Christmas eve, there’s a big party with lots of yummy homemade food, music, and pool. Gotta love it!

I so need to get my cards in the mail lol The sad thing is that they should still be going out early haha
Christmas is a great time of year because it draws people together. It’s a shame, though, that it takes a holiday for some people to stop and appreciate each other you know?

Oh, I love everything about the holidays. My family is very involved with Christmas and some of my happiest memories revolve around Christmas. I love being able to spend time with my family and even though we never have enough for a lot of gifts, the time we spend together is what’s most worth it. Happy Holidays!

Ah, Christmas is my most hated holiday, yet my favorite at the same time. I hate the crowds in stores, yet people just seem to be so much nicer this time of the year. I also enjoy the little things about Christmas… the smell of a fresh Christmas tree, pumpkin pie, getting more anxious by the day to open gifts, and watching National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.

I love waking up on Christmas morning with people I love…all the excitement.
As for Christmas cards…I actually had mine sent out a month ago so THAT’S early!!! I’m getting married in July and wanted to send out these cute little “Save the Date” magnets in them and I was too excited to wait.
