So Court and I are better today. We get the best of each other sometimes and then both our tempers flare. I know he didn’t meant to hurt me last night but it still made me sad. Maybe I’m just too sensitive.

So tomorrow is Valentine’s Day. What does Valentine’s Day mean to you? I don’t think we need a holiday to show people we love and care for them. Shouldn’t we do that everyday? Tomorrow to me is Wednesday and Wednesdays mean time to weigh in. So tomorrow I shall weigh in and then eat some chocolate. Lol. I don’t really expect anything special from Court. He’s not really the sentimental type so I won’t be holding my breath. I mean, it would be really nice to have some guy sweep me off my feet with roses and romantic gestures oozing from him but if I wanted that, I wouldn’t be with Court. I love him for him despite the lack of romance because when he does have a romantic moment it by far means more to me than anything since I know it takes alot out of him to be romantic. And it really irks me listening to love songs because do men like that really exist? Is there some guy out there who is a modern-day “perfect man” or is that just a myth? I personally believe it’s a myth. Guys can be awesome and sweet but no one is perfect and a perfect man wouldn’t make you cry and we all know every guy is going to make you cry at one point or another in your life. No one’s perfect and it took me a long time to realize that!

So on that note, I’m headed to bed since I have to weigh in @ 10 AM. Night everyone and I’m finally getting back in the blogging routine!

To be honest I’ve never conisdered Valentinte’s to be anything special. I acknowledge it because others do and that’s it. It could come from having my birthday so close to valentines. Gah, I get so tired of being called a “love baby” or a “valentine’s baby” Gag me. And you wouldn’t believe how many corny “be my valentine messages” and chocolate hearts I get either. It’s just a hallmark generated holiday, what is all the fuss about? =P

Glad to hear you and Court are better, my boyfriend and I fought on our anniversary.

For me, Valentine’s day is just another day. While it had pagan roots and such, and then it was a Christian saint feast, but it hasn’t really had an impact on me, as far as buying gifts or all of that. It’s not that important to me that I have to “show” my love by buying expensive gifts and such.

I’m glad everything’s ok between you and Court!

Anyways, for me, right now, Valentine’s doesn’t mean anything to me… It might in the future, but probably not, since it’s just a day, while you can show each other that you love one another everyday…

I always saw it as men can be perfect, but they aren’t flawless. I guess that means that Michael is perfect for me, but that doesn’t mean he’s without his faults.

For me, this Valentine’s day was just filled with chocolate… I’d like to have a sweetheart for valentine’s day, but *shrugs* I’m fine with my chocolate.

I’m glad that you and Court are doing ok. Vday is just another day to me hun (even if I have a guy). I don’t need a holiday to tell me that I can hand out gifts on this day to tell my guy that I love him. I can do that any other day of the year.

I agree completely that Valentine’s Day is unnecesary. You should use everyday to its advantage and share the love everyday .

And no guys is perfect. Unromantic guys are great I think because when they are romantic it means soooo much more.

I agree with the whole valentine thing.. it should just be on feb 14 where we can give roses or chocolates.. it should be an ‘any’ day kinda thing.. not necessarily everyday.

For me there was no Valentines Day as it haven’t had it’s break through in Denmark yet.

I’ve always had mixed feelings about V-day. Glad to know you had a good one, though!
