Well evidently Technorati doesn’t like me but that’s okay, I don’t like it either. I browsed the site and saw I am not the only one having that issue and my friend from LJ said she was having the same problem as well which makes me feel a little bit better.
After my whole post on drug rehab, I felt kind of bad for posting about someone on my site but at least I did not say any names. My site is my site and it’s my place to express my feelings no matter what those feelings might be. I also told the boyfriend about my site and he didn’t like the idea of stuff about him being posted for anyone on the net to see so I respect his feelings and won’t post details about him. I don’t think I will ever find a guy that completely understands why I blog unless he was a fellow blogger as well. I do not blog so people can read it, I blog because it’s my way of expressing my feelings.
Also, I love to write whether it be short stories, poems, or just my feelings so I can get them out of my head. I constantly bottle things up and blogging is my stress relief. Through out my blogging life, I’ve met some wonderful people whom I am proud to call my friends now. I might not be able to keep in touch with them as much as I’d like since I have a busy schedule this semester but at least we are able to see what everyone is up to via their blog. Maybe some people don’t get blogging because the idea of someone reading about their life and their intimate feelings scares them and feel that it’s sharing too much information but for me, I’m an open person anyways. I think it makes me feel a whole lot more normal when people relate to the things I have to say or the feelings that I have towards a certain subject. Blogging is a way to meet people who are like you and people that you otherwise wouldn’t meet if you didn’t hop on the internet.
Any who, I am going to go eat some dinner. I’m finally hungry which is a miracle since my medicine makes me go long periods of time without ever getting hungry to the point I have to force myself to eat. Got to love that. *sarcasm* Until next time, later darlings!
Meet Kate, a 23 year old Southern belle. She spends her days spending time with family, loving her Prince Charming (Rans), and going to school to become a teacher. This blog is a place for her to post reviews with a twist of Southern charm.
Yep, I know what you mean about blogging about your feelings and such. That’s why I blog. LOL. Oh wow, sorry to hear about your boyfriend not wanting you to blog about him… =/ Yeah, I think you’re right about not finding a guy that completely understands about blogging unless he’s a blogger himself.
*hugs* Yep, I totally agree with you about how you feel about blogging and letting your feelings out. It totally helps. I do that with the journals I have. And yep, I’m an open person also(well, to people I’m comfortable with, and online with my journals), so many people think that I share too much on my blogs… =/ But yeah, blogs are DEFINTELY a great way to connect with people! I LOVE it! LOL.
But yes, hehe, I’m about to get some dinner now also. Hehe.

-shrug- Well there are some issues with companies being talked about on blogs and then people getting fired for breeching privacy, and equally, I remember this girl who got into trouble at school because she posted about these people she didn’t like [and didn’t give their names] and was forced to delete it. Couldn’t care less personally.

Same I like to blog because I like to get my feelings and thoughts across though I have to admit anything really personal I don’t tend to put online unless it’s something I want people to know about so I can understand how some people may not be comfortable with it. And true unless he is a fellow blogger himself he will never understand. Yep, blogs are a great way to keep in contact and meet new people!

Hey Kate. It seems I haven’t been here in awhile. Sorry about that. I did not even KNOW you had a boyfriend. Well, I’ll have to go read up on your previous blogs. Lots of people don’t like to be posted about, but honestly if it’s someone that affects your life and it being your website.. as long as you don’t mention names I don’t see the big deal. :X

I guess some people doesn’t want to be talked about without their knowledge, and that’s a common fact in the offline world, too, so I can understand how your boyfriend feels.

Blogging is a really good way to get whatever you want to say off your mind :3 I’ve never really had anyone say, “Gee, blogging’s kinda weird.”.
